Sustainability Commitment 2025

Building upon our commitment to climate action in accordance with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, together with our independent partner DEKRA we have set ambitious goals to reduce our carbon emissions for our company group - and our client business in the
retail industry.

For our remaining carbon footprint, we will offset our emissions and mitigate climate change by supporting verified carbon offset projects that provide additionality and are permanent — paving our way to achieve carbon neutrality by 2025.

Our commitment goes far beyond emissions reductions. We have also committed to reduce our resource consumption, build resilience in our supply chains, promote the happiness, and healthiness of our people and engrain sustainability within our strategic and operational directions through sustainability management initiatives.

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

The Sustainable Development Goals, the SGDs for short, are a collection of 17 interlinked global goals for people and the planet - a universal call to action with powerful aspirations for improving our world by 2030.

These goals cover all topics that you would traditionally associate with sustainability, such as climate action, life on land and life in water, but also go beyond by addressing poverty, health, education and creating sustainable economies. Each of the 17 goals are each further broken down into their own targets and indicators.

Many of our clients have also embraced SDGs in their sustainability strategies and reporting such as Aesop, Chanel, MarcoPolo, Nespresso and ADIDAS.

Climate & Resources

Everything we consume within our corporate carbon footprint and what we do in our client projects. Here it is about resources and the emissions we are creating.

Sustainable supply chain

This pillar is all about transforming our supply chain - through standards setting, procurement guideline implementation, supplier audits and supplier development - taking a partnership approach to build sustainable and lasting capabilities.

People & Culture

People are the foundation to our third pillar - people are the most important part of our operations, our business and our successes. We want to build and maintain an environment and culture that supports  and enables our people with the main goal of having happy, healthy people.
We will prioritize physical and mental health, safety & wellbeing. We are committed to providing an inclusive workplace where our employees can thrive, succeed and achieve their potential.

Sustainability management

From a first glance, this may be the least fun of the four, however, it is absolutely essential to ensure we stay true to our sustainability values & purpose. This means we are held accountable through a combination of sustainability ratings, reporting initiatives, communications, stakeholder engagement, all while systematically integrating sustainability into our client conversations.
