Most of you hopefully got a chance to meet and chat with our friends from Trash Galore during Ligaconvent.
They were part of the Sustainability Experience in presenting their services that solve the waste problem of events.
In addition, we also asked them to put their money where their mouth is. And they did.
After Ligaconvet was officially over, they started dismantling all materials that will not be reused for the next Ligaconvent. They weighed the materials, loaded them into their Sprinter
and then transported them to two local social institutions:
1. Commons kitchen - community kitchen for saved food waste
2. Chloroplast e.V. - community glasshouse for local vegetable growing
Both institutions will use the leftover material now to support their cause.
Find out more in the report we received from Trash Galore.
Going forward, we want to collaborate more and more with Trash Galore to solve the end of life challenges of our projects!
Multiple of our teams are already in contact and discussing collaborative pilot projects - incl. team Nespresso, team Alicia and soon team Vali.
